Q: Do you work with all breeds and ages?
A: Yes! We welcome all breeds and ages, though some programs may be better suited for puppies or adult dogs depending on what your training needs are.
Q: Where does my dog stay while training?
A: In our home! We've turned our garage (which is temperature controlled) into our dog space. We have kennels (rufflands) & a kennel run that we use interchangeably to house our client dogs during their stay with us.
Q: Will my dog think that I abandoned them when they go off to training?
A: Absolutely not! Because we've done an evaluation before booking your program, I won't be a stranger to your dog. To them it'll feel like they're going to hang out with a friend! Plus they're going to be having a ton of fun learning a bunch of new skills and going on a ton of adventures to become your ideal adventure buddy!
Q: How many dogs do you take at one time for Board & Trains?
A: I take 3 dogs at most! When I schedule multiple programs in a month, I make sure that I stagger programs (so one starts for a week or two before another dog begins) to make sure that I'm not overwhelming myself.
Q: If my dog has trained with you before, can they come back to board with you?
A: Yes! All of my program graduates are ALWAYS welcome back to board with me! I actually loving having graduates back to board because it makes things so easy for me since I now have a relationship with the dog!
Q: Do you offer payment plans?
A: We do! What that looks like is deteremined on a case to case basis and is previously discussed before booking a program.
Q: What areas do you service?
A: Overall, we service the portland metro! Specifically for Board & Trains and Private lessons. For trekking paws, mini adventures, walks & training treks we're only servicing the hillsboro/beaverton area.
Q: Does my dog need to be UTD on vaccines?
A: Yes please. Providing a copy of your dog's most current vaccines (for Board & Trains as well as boarding dogs) is highly encouraged.
