We're a small, woman led, Latina, queer & veteran owned dog training company in the Portland metro area. We consider our dogs part of our family and strive to give them the best life possible.
Doglingual is a dog training company born out of love. Veteran and queer women owned, we are passionate about helping dog owners and especially supporting the LGBTQ Community with responsible dog ownership, dog education and becoming better dog guardians.

"Speaking" dog isn't something that comes naturally to most people. That's where we come in! Here at Doglingual we take a very individualistic approach to dog training. Our main focus is formulating a training plan that is catered to each client's individual goals for their life & their dog. We have an ever expanding tool belt that we use to build up your dog's skills to help them become your perfect adventure buddy!

Pre-service evaluations are REQUIRED for Trekking Paws, Private Lessons, Board and Trains & Boardings prior to scheduling for new clients. Evals for Trekking paws, Private lessons and Board & Trains are $50 for 30-45 minutes. Boardings require meet & greets at no charge.

Are you looking for more fulfilling and enriching activities for your dog to do during the week? Getting out into nature on a group hike is a great way to spice things up for your pup. We offer Trekking Paws once a week on Thursdays.

1-on-1 lessons are a great way to figure out what training direction you want to go with your pup. We can tackle everything from basic to advanced obedience, as well as anything that may be in the way of your dog's success.

Sometimes life can get a little overwhelming and you need a little extra help when it comes to training your dogs. That’s where Board & Trains come in. We take on the heavy lifting and lay down the groundwork to set our clients up for the most success.

Do you have a dog that prefers a more intimiate setting when it comes to boarding? Or have a dog that is particular & wouldn't do well in a typical boarding facility? We now offer boarding on a limited basis!
